Good Morning fellow students and teaching staff.

My name is Connor J Hehir.

Do you know what kind of economical problems this nation has created?

Let me start with the easy ones.

First of all, the unemployment rates have soared to their highest level of 7.7%.  If you look back to the 50's and 60's, the unemployment rate was only about 3% of all Americans.  Now it is more than double that amount.

Second, there is too much government spending going on and the taxes are too high for our families and friends.

Third is EDUCATION.  We need to spend more on our teachers' salaries.  We need to add more TECHNOLOGY to the classroom for students and teachers.  Who needs to spend money on books, paper, and pencils, when it is all at our fingertips with a computer and a mouse!

Fourth,  we need more global acts to go GREEN.  We need more electric cars, solar energy, drilling for oil and natural resources on OUR OWN SOIL, RIGHT HERE IN THE GREAT USA.

Next is MEDICAL INSURANCE.  Just look at the rates we are paying in today's job market.  After taxes and insurance costs for our families, we are lucky to have enough money left to pay for the mortgage, food, gas and electricity.  Never mind having any money left to pay for sports programs or cable TV.  Our taxes do not even pay for bussing for our children each day.

Let me ask you all a question.

With all the economical problems, do you think it is right for President Obama and Governor Romney to spend over 

2 BILLION on their elections?  We Americans could ALL use a few more dollars in our paychecks for our everyday needs.  Let me ask my fellow students.  What is in the future for us?  Will we have the money for college?  Will we be able to afford Medical Insurance?  Social Security benefits?  How much will cable TV and Internet cost in 10 years?  $200-$300 a month?  THE MADNESS NEEDS TO END!

Let us focus on how WE as the next generation can help America afford to live FREE, HEALTHY AND HAPPY.
